Hi my name is Ayvah I sailed in a waka to New Zealand at first I felt nervous then when the waka went I got alittle excited so off we went to New Zealand. It was an hour when I looked at the view it was insane I was like wow what a view when I got out of the waka and smelt the flowers and it was so cool.

    Good morning Ayvah! It is wonderful to see that you have joined the Summer Learning Journey this year. Welcome to the team!

    I really enjoyed reading your blog post about sailing to New Zealand in a waka. It would be really exciting, wouldn't it? The view would be pretty spectacular, I'd imagine. In fact, I can still remember the first time that I came to New Zealand to visit and was amazed by all of the beautiful flowers, gorgeous oceans and lush rainforests that I visited. I had never seen anything like it before, having come from the centre of Canada where there is no ocean or rainforest to be found!

    I hope that you will continue with the Summer Learning Journey this year. There is one more week left and you are welcome to blog as much as you can before we finish. (Our final day is Friday 26 January).
