They could see there nana’s house and the harbour and the stadium.

He felt sick and dizzy because he was scared that the platform will break.
How come Matiu couldn’t jump off?
Because he had to be 35 kg but he was 25 kg so he was so close.
Why do you think it would be a good idea to have a weight or height restriction?
I think it’s good to do a weight  and height restriction because it’s safe and the children might slip out.
What tower is the one in the book similar to?
The auckland sky tower because it’s the tallest  tower in the auckland
What did Matiu do at the end of the story on the glass?
He did push ups and did krumping and did a 5 second haka
What do you think of the joke picture?
I thought it was funny and creative because instead of bungy jumping they just took a photo showing pania pushing matiu off.
How do you think Nan will like that as  a christmas card?
I think she will be surprised because matiu did something new and it’s good to try something new.

Now that you have made a plan, it is time to write your recount in full sentences. Start your writing here:
It was a hot and muggy morning i went to school and i said hii to all my friends and school  started miy teacher did the roll then we moved to our writing class then we went on the mat and she said to go get a pencil and get a buddy so we went in to buddys and

I know I have been successful writing because my recount:
1
Has an orientation to tell who, what, when, where.

2
Recounts the experience in the order the events happened.

3
Shares my feelings about the experience at the end.

4
Is written using verbs in the past tense (I saw, I walked, I felt).

5
Has sentences with capital letters and full stops.
